KUNG FU PANDA 3
This is the 3rd installation of this animated
action comedy starring Po the panda. The first movie was all about Po’s almost
accidental appointment as the so called Dragon Warrior, in which he somehow
succeeds and defeats Tai Long (the villain of the first movie). Then came Lord
Shen, the Crazy and insecure Peacock warlord who was hell bent on destroying
Kungfu. Po Finds his inner peace and defeats him as well. Now comes his biggest
test yet, pitted against a villain on par with the Great master Oogway (Po’s
grandmaster), A Villain who is an immortal spirit that has captured the Energy
of all the Kung Fu masters in China. Will PO succeed? Or will he have help?
Well, to be honest, this installment has definitely has
surpassed its predecessors in terms of content and execution. It was well worth
a wait.
The Story is basically about a “Chi” Hungry Warlord named
Kai who is trapped in the spirit world by The Grand Master Oogway. When Oogway
himself finally descends to the Spirit World (based on the events from the 1st
movie), Kai returns to face him one last time. He is boosted by the many Chi’s
he has captured from other great spirits. Oogway takes him on but alas is
defeated and has his Chi captured.
By Capturing Oogway, Kai finally manages to return to the
Living world. He then hunts down all the Kungfu Masters and captures their Chi.
Po meanwhile, meets his real father (who left a secret panda village to find
him). While Po follows his father to the village (to learn how to use the power
of Chi),the Chi’s of Master Shifu,Mantis,Crane,Monkey and Viper are all
captured.
Tigress escapes to Alert Po as Kai also begins his journey
to find the secret Panda Village,to find and capture the Chi’s of Po and all
the other Panda’s.Will Kai succeed? Will Po manage to defeat this super powerful
villain all by himself?
To find out, you will have to go and watch the movie
yourself because this installation is definitely the best of the series. The
Visual Effects are fantastic as is the humour.There are many instances in the
movie that will definitely evoke laughter.
What I also like is the content, there is more depth in the
story this time around. This movie also is linked beautifully to the first and
second movie therefore making it a Perfect Continuation of the series.
In A Whole, Kung Fu Panda 3 a Perfect Entertainment package
and a perfect Sequel.
Well the weight is indeed over Folks.
